Isaac is a life-long resident of the Middle Tennessee area, having been born and raised in Old Hickory and currently residing in the Donelson area. In 2013, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Memphis.
After several years in the hospitality and sales industry, including time at both the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and the Grand Ole Opry, he returned to school and earned his Juris Doctorate from Belmont University College of Law in 2022. During law school, he served as a summer intern at the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Tennessee, completed the pro bono pledge, and received the CALI Excellence award in the study of White Collar Crime. He also worked as an associate and senior editor on the Belmont Criminal Law Journal and had his student note selected for publication as part of the journal’s fourth volume. Isaac began as an intern at Hagar & Phillips in May 2021, before staying on with the practice as a law clerk. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his friends and family, going to the movies, attending live theater performances, and cross-stitching.

Isaac completed the NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety course in 2023. This training helps ensure the Hagar and Phillips team stays current on the evolving DUI defense techniques to give our clients the best defense against warrantless and often pretextual traffic stops.
